VALLEY OF THE DRAGONS- Algeria 1881. Two men, Michael Denning and Hector Servadac are having a duel with one another when a comet passes the earth at low altitude. The strong wind this creates transports the two men to the moon. They find themselves in a jungle inhabited by reptiles and prehistoric humans. Rare 60’s Sci-Fi. (1961)

 

VALLEY OF THE ZOMBIES- Dr. Maynard tells Dr. Terry Evans and his nurse, Susan Drake about the theft of ten pints of blood from his lab. Later, he is visited by Ormand Murks, a man Maynard had once had committed to an insane asylum and who later died from an operation, and Maynard learns that Murks is an example of living death whose abnormality is counter-acted only by blood. VAMPIRA- A romance-horror hybrid, was cited by the Young Critics Circle as Best Picture for 1994. The film follows a vampire woman's attempt to find in the love of a young architect her and her family's redemption from their accursed state. FILIPINO DIALOG WITH NO ENGLISH SUB-TITLES!!! Very rare and very recommended. (1961/94)

 

VAMPIRE AND THE BALLERINA- Italian production dubbed in English concerning a vampire stalking a ballerina troupe practicing in a nearby chateau. AKA The Dancer And The Vampire & The Vampire's Lover. (1960)

 

VAMPIRE CIRCUS- One of Hammer Films’ gorier productions. A circus company of vampires come to a town which was responsible for the killing of the circus owner’s cousin. One by one they seduce and kill the town folk in graphic style. Beware, this is an un-cut version with all gore scenes intact. (1972)

 

VAMPIRE MAN (aka Onna Kyuketsuki/The Lady Vampire)-A vampire named Nobutaka kidnaps Miwako, the wife of an atomic scientist whom he believes to be the second incarnation of his former soul mate. He carries her into his subterranean laboratory and locks her in a cell. She refuses his advances so he turns her into a wax doll. But her boyfriend and daughter come to rescue her. Letterboxed in Japanese Language with English sub-titles. (1959)

 

VAMPIRE PEOPLE- Foreign production of a cult of vampires whose head vampire is an ex-doctor. He seeks a special blood from a daughter of one of the town families. Usual creepy atmosphere and some very good vampire effects. (196?)

 

VAMPIRE RAIDERS VS THE NINJA QUEEN (aka Vampire Raiders: Ninja Queen) - Another crazy camp fun film from China involving A Ninja Queen, vampires and hopping zombies. Very recommended!!! (1988)

VAMPIRES OF COYOACAN (Los Vampiros De Coyoacan)- Spanish Language. Wrestling heros Mil Mascaras and Superzan star. A beautiful girl falls under the spell of vampires and her heros must rescue her from the mansion of death. (1973)

 

VAMPIRE'S COFFIN- Mexican horror in the style of the Universal Studio’s 40’s horror films. The film depicts tomb defilers who unleash a vampire, who then makes one of the defilers his “Igor-like” minion. The climatic battle takes place in a wax museum. Dubbed in English and packaged for the U.S.A. by K. Gordon Murray. (1957) 

 

VAMPIRO, GUERRERO DE LA NOCHE- Spanish Language. Mexican Wrestler Vampiro Canadienseis fighting in the main event. However we do notice two lady fans of Vampiro enjoying the show. The girls are sitting with a very evil looking dude. What proves to be evil about the man is the strange metal glove he's wearing on his left hand. The glove seems to have a power over Vampiro, and with a twist of his wrist Vampiro collapses in the ring. The crowd panics and Vampiro is lead out of the ring on a stretcher. But before Vampiro is brought to the hospital, his body is kidnapped by the evil man and the two women. (1992)

 

VARAN THE UNBELIEVABLE- A Godzilla-like monster with spikes on his back emerges from a lake to destroy everything in it's path. Pure action as the creature makes a bee-line towards Tokyo. Long out-of-print. (1958)

VARROW MISSION (aka Alien Teen)- Local teenagers are holding a Halloween party at a supposedly "haunted" old mill, but find out that one of the partygoers who is dressed as an alien is actually a real alien. (1978)

 

VEIL OF BLOOD- English Language print. In this sleazy "erotic horror movie", a young pretty virgin, Helga ( Marie Forsa) arrives at a castle in Germany. In the castle's basement, naked women, led by a bitch vampire called Wanda, perform rites with penis shaped candles, while bongos are heard on the soundtrack. People staying at the castle engage in soft core sexual sessions.  (1973)

 

VENENO PARA LAS HADAS (The Evil Fairies) – Mexican witchcraft tale in Spanish language. Mexico City circa 1965: Fabiola is an aristocratic little girl, who is very lonely and bored. At school she meets and befriends a strange and beautiful girl named Graciela, who dreams of becoming a witch. Their games get increasingly sadistic and macabre, and escalate to involve the bloody murder of a schoolmate and macabre mayhem. (1984)

VENGEANCE OF THE MUMMY (aka The Mummy’s Revenge)- Spanish production dubbed in English starring Paul Naschy playing a duel role as the prince who was mummified during the ancient sequences, and his modern descendant that the Mummy is sent to kill. (1973)

 

VENGEANCE OF THE VAMPIRE WOMEN- Features Santo. Mexican Horror, Spanish Language. One of the rare and goriest entries in the Santo films. Santo aids in an epidemic of vampire killings. (1970)

 

VENGEANCE OF THE ZOMBIES- Spanish production dubbed in English starring Paul Naschywho plays a demented assistant to an evil doctor who raises people from the dead to do his bidding. Some very good zombie sequences. (1972)

 

VENUS MEETS THE SON OF HERCULES- The son of Hercules must protect the planet against invaders possessing evil incantations, monsters, man-eating plants, and other horrors. Italian film dubbed in English. (1962)

 

VIDEO DEAD- On a quiet tree-lined street evil has come in an unusual way; a television. It plays only one channel, a zombie movie over and over. Somehow the zombies come through the TV into reality to begin their blood drenching killing. (1987)

 

VIOLATOR FROM HELL- SEE "EL VIOLADOR INFERNAL"

VIOLENT BLOOD BATH- Terror grips a resort town when a little girl and her parents are found raped and killed in their cottage. VISIONS OF EVIL (aka So Sad About Gloria) -A young woman just released from a mental hospital moves back in with her family. However, she is soon troubled by disturbing visions in which she commits a series of axe murders. (1975)

 

VISITING HOURS- Classic 80’s slasher flick. In this hospital your next visit may be your last. A crazed, women-hating killer rapes and brutalizes journalist Deborah Ballin. When he discovers that his attack didn't kill Deborah, he comes to the hospital to finish what he started. (1982)

 

VOODOO BLACK EXORCIST- Extremely rare and hard to find film. A black prince, dead 300 years, rises from the grave to wreak revenge. Blood and gore galore. (1974)

 

VOODOO GIRL (aka Sugar Hill)- When her boyfriend is brutally murdered Sugar Hill decides not to get mad, but BAD! Calling upon the help of aged voodoo queen Mama Maitresse, Sugar entreats her to call upon Baron Zamedi, the Lord of the Dead, for help in gaining a gruesome revenge. (1974)

 

VOODOO WOMAN- Deep in the jungles a mad scientist is using the natives’ voodoo for his experiments to create an indestructible being to serve his will. 1950’s classic. (1957)

WAR OF THE GARGANTUAS- Original un-cut, letterboxed Japanese version also contains a collection of original rare trailers, and alternate shots made overseas as well as outtakes. An evil green Gargantua comes out of the ocean causing havoc until the brown Gargantua comes out of the forest to try to peacefully stop his 'brother". WAR OF THE MONSTERS- SEE "GAMERA VS BARUGON"

WARLOCK MOON- Young lovers John and Jenny decide to go for a drive in the countryside when they happen upon the remains of a long-abandoned resort spa. After doing some exploring, they find that an elderly couple is still living in the crumbling building. They tell the youngsters that the resort was shut down long ago because it was the headquarters of a satanic cult that performed cannibalistic rituals on unsuspecting visitors, and then invite the pair to stay for dinner. (1975)

 

WAX MASK- Two women are thrown into a world of terror when they discover that a string of mysterious deaths in Rome are connected to a macabre wax museum, and that the artist/owner of the museum is himself linked to the murder of one girl’s parents years earlier, in this chilling remake of “ House Of Wax”. Produced by Dario Argento and dedicated to Lucio Fulci. (1997)

 

WEEKEND MURDERS- Released internationally by MGM, this 1970 giallo from the underrated Michele Lupo marks his only contribution to the genre. It is a shame because, while certainly not the most serious example of the form, it is a well-made and thoroughly entertaining film that deserves wider recognition and availability.

 

WELCOME TO ARROW BEACH (aka Tender Flesh)- A hippie girl wandering on a California beach is taken in by a Korean War veteran who lives in a nearby mansion with his wife. The girl soon begins to suspect that the mansion is home to some very strange goings-on. Very rare 70’s drive-in horror. (1974)

WEREWOLF AND THE YETI- Uncut Spanish sequel to Frankenstein’s Bloody Terror, with Paul Naschy as part of a Tibetan expedition who is attacked by a werewolf and changed into a creature. Then it becomes a battle between the werewolf and the yeti. Dubbed in English, with Japanese subtitles. (1975)

 

WEREWOLF IN A GIRL'S DORMITORY- Our vote for corniest movie title. An all girls school is suddenly terrorized by a werewolf, who begins to kill of the sexy coeds. Good werewolf photography, and the killer’s identity turns out to be a surprise. (1961)

 

WEREWOLF IN BANGKOK- Thai Language w/English subtitles. One day, Frank is bitten by a werewolf, but he escapes and survives. But since that day, when the half moon comes up in the night sky, Frank will turn to be a werewolf--but a different kind of werewolf. (2005) 

 

WEREWOLF OF WOODSTOCK- At the site of the 1969 rock concert at Woodstock, New York, an electrical charge turns a local farmer into a murderous werewolf. (1975)

 

WEREWOLF WOMAN (aka Terror Of The She-Wolf) Director Salvatore di Silvestro’s exploitative horror film features a heroine, Daniela, whose sexual drives propel her into lycanthropy. This wonderful plot offers an opportunity to mix bloody and sexploitation scenes. Very sexual and very graphic, this print was originally released here in a 70 minute butchered form. We now proudly present the complete version. In widescreen.(1976)

 

WEREWOLVES ON WHEELS- A biker gang visits a monastery where they encounter black-robed monks engaged in worshipping Satan. When the monks try to persuade one of the female bikers, Helen, to become a satanic sacrifice, the bikers smash up the monastery. As a result of the satanic rituals, Helen is transformed into a werewolf, with dire results for the biker gang. (1971)

WHIP AND THE BODY- Directed by Mario Bava. In the 19th century, a sadistic nobleman terrorizes the members of his family. He is found dead, but his ghost soon returns to haunt the residents of his castle. (1963)

 

WHITE CANNIBAL QUEEN- Directed by Jesse Franco. A little girl is captured after her parents are attacked aboard a boat by a cannibal tribe while on a scientific expedition in the jungles of the Emerald forest. The tribe adopt her as their royal Goddess and ten years later her father, minus one eaten arm, returns with a search party to try and reclaim her. Stars Lina Romay. (1979)

 

WHITE DOG- Paul Winfield is a trainer attempting to reprogram vicious dog who's been trained to attack and kill people with black skin. Hard-hitting and moving. (1982)

 

WHITE ZOMBIE- Long hailed as a lost classic, which was rediscovered in the 60’s. The film stars Bela Lugosi, playing a plantation owner in the West Indies who holds sway over an army of zombies. (1932)

 

WHO COULD KILL A CHILD?- SEE "ISLAND OF THE DAMNED"

WILCZYCA (The Wolf) – Polish Language. Rare horror film from Poland (a country that doesn’t produce many) about werewolves and wolf-beasts. (1983)

 

WILD BEASTS- When PCP inexplicably gets into the water supply of a large zoo in Frankfurt, Germany, the zoo animals go crazy, break out of their cages, and go on a homicidal, nighttime rampage through the city killing any person they come into contact with. (1984)

 

WILD WILD WORLD OF BATWOMAN- In this zero budget cheapie a busty Batwoman enlists her beauteous bevy of Batgirls (when they are not dancing the jerk) to help her regain a mad scientist's invention (an atom bomb made out of a hearing aid) before a costumed ne'er-do-well, Rat Fink, can glom onto it for his own purposes. (1966) 

 

WINTERBEAST- Very rare horror film. In a wintry kind of town somewhere, people are being killed off by possessed totem poles. (1991)
