RABID DOGS- The last film by director Mario Bava. A gang of thieves hijack a man's car after botching their getaway from a robbery. They take a woman prisoner and command the man to drive them to safety. The man must try to cope with the bad situation he is in as well as trying to get help for a sick child that he is caring for. (1974)

 

RACE WITH THE DEVIL- Frank and Roger and their wives take off for Colorado in a recreational vehicle, looking forward to some skiing and dirt bikes. While camping, they witness a satanic ritual sacrifice, but the local sheriff finds no evidence to support their claims and urges them to continue on their vacation. On the way, however, they find themselves repeatedly attacked by cult members, and they take measures to defend themselves. Stars Peter Fonda and Loretta Swit. (1975)

  

RAIDERS OF ATLANTIS (aka Atlantis Interceptors)- Directed by Ruggero Deodato. A team of scientists working to raise a sunken Russian nuclear submarine on an ocean platform off the coast of Miami, Florida, unearth an ancient Atlantean relic from the sea floor and bring in an expert to make some sense of it. But while attempting to raise the sub, radioactive leakage from its missiles triggers the re-emergence of Atlantis, and the resulting tidal wave destroys the platform and leaves only a small group of survivors. (1983)

 

RAPE OF THE VAMPIRE (aka Queen Of The Vampires)- From French director Jean Rollin, dubbed in English. Sexual plot with vampirism, blood, and much more gory elements about a plot to free two girls from the curse of vampires. Director Rollins’ first film (1967)

  

RAT IN THE DARKNESS (Rata en la Oscuridad) - Rare Mexican horror w/English subtitles. Two sisters buy a large empty house filled with rats, especially one large rat. (1979)

  

RATMAN- A maniac butchers a fashion model on a Caribbean island and leaves the body to be eaten by rats. The model's sister suspects something isn't quite right with the police investigation and decides to go snooping on her own. With her friend, Fred, their investigations lead them to an unknown part of the island where they discover a monstrosity of a rat like man. The creature is killed by Fred, but the true horror of its nature is just beginning... (1988)

 

RAW FORCE- SEE "KUNG FU CANNIBALS"

RAW MEAT (aka Death Line)- At the turn of the century, a group of diggers were lost during a cave-in of part of the London Underground tube-train network. They managed to live for a lifetime trapped in a crevice, but now there is only one family left. The half-human father heads to the Underground station to pick off lone passengers for food, while a London police detective investigates the mysterious disappearances. Very grisly and very hard-to-find horror. (1972)

  

RED NIGHTS OF THE GESTAPO- 12 beautiful women are assembled by the SS to provide a little weekend fun for influential Germans. The plot though is to assassinate the political and military leaders. Chockfull of fun and sleaze - but that's what's expected from the genre. English language with German subtitles. (1977)

  

RED QUEEN KILLS 7 TIMES- This interesting Giallo boosts a typical but still thrilling plot and a really sadistic killer that obviously likes to hunt his victims down before murdering them in gory ways. (1972)

  

RED BLOOD SPELLS RED (Gong gui zai)- One of the rarest Asian films in the U.S. In a big cave an evil dwarf sorcerer is performing a bizarre ritual when four righteous sorcerers enter the cave, attack him, then throw him in a stone coffin. Present Day: a group of photographers investigate the legend of the evil sorcerer. They enter the cave and break the seal. Red smoke gushes from the coffin and ghastly things start to happen; people killed by an unseen force, others killed by the woods that come alive, dozens of scorpions attack the people in the village. Very gory. (1983)

  

REFORM SCHOOL GIRL- A young girl's boyfriend steals a car and ends up involved in a hit-and-run accident. The only witness is his ex-girlfriend, so he has her framed on a car theft charge and sent to reform school. (1957)

  

REFUGE OF FEAR (aka Creation Of The Damned)- A very grim Nuclear holocaust movie filmed in Spain in English language. Time... The not too distant future. Place... The USA. Problem... Nuclear war. Effect... A society with no rules. Very unusual and hard to find. At last the final barriers between civilized man and the animals are ripped apart. This film has lots of gore and decomposed bodies of people who did not survive the nuclear attack. (1974)

  

REGENERATOR (aka Metamorphosis)- Dr. Peter Houseman is a brilliant geneticist who is working on a serum which will stop human aging, but his colleagues don't believe in his work. When his university funding is threatened by his skeptical benefactors, the doctor takes a desperate measure to justify his work. He administers the serum to himself, but the results are unexpected and horrendous. (1990)

  

REPTILICUS (Original Dutch Theatrical Print)- This print of the well known camp film is the original Dutch theatrical print. This print is completely different then the U.S. release with more scenes that were deleted for the cut U.S. print. It is in Dutch language only, no English subs. A must for any collector. (1961)

  

RETURN OF THE BLIND DEAD- First sequel to director Armando de Ossorios’ Tombs of the Blind Dead. "The Templar Knights begin to attack during a local village carnival. (1973)

  

RETURN OF THE GIANT MAJIN- Sequel to Majin, Monster Of Terror. The giant God of war once again awakens to fight an evil prince in his takeover of the country. Dubbed in English. (1966)

  

RETURN OF THE GIANT MONSTERS- SEE "GAMERA VS GAOS"

RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD (WORKPRINT)- This is a WORKPRINT tape of Return Of The Living Dead. It shows different scenes not found in ANY print, scenes used, but at different angles. It also shows the movie before effects or credits were inserted. These prints contain the scenes that are used in the film, and the rest are left on the cutting-room floor. The effects and credits are then inserted. This is a rare hard-to-find print. Print quality is fair.  (1985)

 

RETURN OF THE MONSTER (El Regreso Del Monstruo)- Mexican horror in Spanish language only!!! Mexican horror about scientist, guided by a talking skeleton, creates hideous creatures. (1959)

  

RETURN OF THE LIVING ZOMBIES- SEE "ZOMBIE NOSH"

RETURN OF THE ZOMBIES (aka Beyond The Living Dead)- Spanish fright flick starring Paul Naschy as a nasty nut resurrecting corpses and programming them to kill anyone standing in the way of his master’s scientific process. Directed by Naschy. Some great zombie effects. Dubbed in English. (1974)

  

REVENGE (aka Blood Cult 2) - A Cult of devil-worshippers prey on students for human sacrifice. Stars John Carradine and Patrick Wayne. (1986)

 

REVENGE OF DR. X (aka Double Garden)- One of the last inept works written by Ed Wood Jr. before his death. A mad scientist uses thunder and lightning to turn carnivorous plants into man-eating creatures. Everything you would expect from a movie which involves Ed Wood Jr. Don’t miss it. (1970)

 

REVENGE OF THE BARBARIANS- The Visigoths invades Italy during the later years of the Roman Empire. When the emperor's sister tricks the barbarians into a wholesale massacre of their men, their leader vows revenge. Sword-and-Sandal starring Anthony Steel. (1960)

  

REVENGE OF THE GLADIATORS- Starring Mickey Hargitay in a sword and sandal epic. (1962)

  

REVENGE OF THE LIVING DEAD- SEE "MURDER CLINIC"

REVENGE OF THE LIVING ZOMBIES (aka Return Of The Living Dead)- Rare zombie gore directed by Jean Rollins available in The U.S.. Three woman die after drinking milk tainted with a deadly toxic. A chemical spill next to the graveyard reanimates the three woman. Much gore and very graphic, with a surprise ending. Dubbed in English with French sub-titles. Because of the rarity of this English dub version the print is fair-good. (198?)

  

REVENGE OF THE SCREAMING DEAD- SEE "MESSIAH OF EVIL"

REVENGE OF THE ZOMBIE- Little known film about a professor that is slain by a biker gang in front of his twin children. The twins have immense mental powers not known to anyone, and use these powers to raise their father from the dead to seek revenge against those who killed him. Rare film. (1988)

  

RIGOR MORTIS: THE FINAL COLORS- German gore directed by Timo Rose, Widescreen, in German language w/English subtitles. More sick and twisted gore from Germany’s premiere underground director. (2003)

  

RING OF DARKNESS- UNCUT import print of aka ‘Un’ Ombra Nell’ Ombra’. This story details the black magic activities of the teenage Daria (a young Lara Wendel) who will stop at nothing in order to gain enough Satanic power in order to grow stronger in spirit and overthrow her mother, a white Witch, and her do-good coven. A very obscure, rarely seen and recommended Witchcraft film which contains nudity. Widescreen format, in English with Dutch subtitles. (1976)

 

THE RIPPER OF WOMEN (O Estripador De Mulheres) -Portugese Language. Suspected of murdering his girlfriend, man is judged by public opinion and gets implicated in a serial killing case, but the real killer is still on the loose. (1978)

  

RITUAL OF DEATH- This film concerns art students who steal an ancient book and write a play based around a ritual found within the book. Slowly one of the members of the group becomes possessed by an evil power and soon the killing begins. (1990)

  

  RIVERPLAY- Directed by Olaf Ittenbach (Burning Moon, Premutos) in German language. Three couples that meet for the first time while vacationing at a river come across a cruelly disfigured corpse. Now the couples do not know if the killer or killers may be among them. (2000)

  

ROBOT VS THE AZTEC MUMMY- Third and final entry in the Mexican "Aztec Mummy" series. Dr. Krupp wandering in a crypt with a robot he has created which he has given a brain. The Dr. wants to raid the tomb of its gold, but it is guarded by the Mummy. Dubbed in English. (1959)

  

  ROBOWAR- Directed by Bruno Mattei. A clone/mix of PREDATOR and ROBOCOP gone nuts jungle flick with an international cast, exotic locale and good electronic music. Great action and gore. (1988)

 

RODAN- ORIGINAL UNCUT JAPANESE LANGUAGE THEATRICAL PRINT. NO ENGLISH SUBTITLES.

  

ROLAND THE MIGHTY- Charlemagne and Saracen Agramante are at war. Although the Franks are outnumbered by their enemies they succeed in containing them in the Pyrenean foothills. A truce is signed between the two sides, during which Agramante treacherously sends Angelique, a beautiful seductress of his retinue, to the paladin camp. (1956)
