BAAZ: A BIRD IN DANGER- Filmed in India w/English subtitles. Baaz's plot is as conventional as possible for a thriller. Neha Chopra is an interior designer new to the town of Nainital. As she begins to settle in the area, she befriends a number of people in the town. There is the Mayor, Jai Singh Dabral, who is smitten by Neha and asks her to redesign his house. Then there is Harshvardan, a police officer with unorthodox methods of monitoring suspects. And finally, there is Raj Singh - a local playboy and Neha's new neighbor. Two of these men fall in love with Neha, and the third is a mentally disturbed serial killer who is trying to kill her. But who's who? (2003)

BABY BLOOD (aka The Evil Within) - A cruel circus owner beats and abuses his pregnant wife. One day the circus receives a leopard newly captured in Africa, but the animal soon dies. However, an evil creature that was inside the leopard bursts out of the animal's body, burrows into the wife's body and takes over her fetus. It soon starts demanding blood, and the woman goes searching for victims for her new "baby." Rare uncut import print. (1990)

 

BACK FROM THE DEAD- A newly married young woman is possessed by the evil spirit of her husband's deceased first wife. The possession turns her into a scheming killer who will stop at nothing to get what she wants. (1957)

BAD BOY BUBBY- L.A. Weekly called it "disturbing and compelling," and it was awarded The Grand Special Jury Prize at the Venice Film Festival. BALLARD OF DEATH VALLEY- Ringo Wood is hired to protect a wealthy Texan family, particularly their two daughters, from the clutches of a gang of Mexican bandits who obviously want their wicked way with the girls. (1965)

 

BALAWIS- Filipino film in Tagalog language. A slimy reptile creature eats humans... Extremely obscure Asian Horror film. Very good print quality. (1996)

 

BAMBOO SAUCER- Classic 60’s Sci/Fi. A flying saucer hidden in a Red Chinese peasant village is sought by teams from the United States and U.S.S.R... (1968)

 

BAMBOO TORTURE GARDEN (aka Chinese Torture Chamber)- Widescreen, in Japanese Language w/English subtitles!!! A Hong Kong "Category 3" (exploitation) classic set during the Sung Dynasty, as a corrupt magistrate subjects a lovely, innocent young bride to inconceivable physical punishments after "convicting" her of killing her husband (by causing his penis to explode, of course). Plenty of raunchy and unintentional humor. Viewer discretion advised. (1994)

 

BARBED WIRE DOLLS- Uncut widescreen import print unreleased in North America, dubbed in English, directed by Jesse Franco. Maria (Lina Romay) is sentenced to prison for life for killing her father that attempted to rape her. She is sent to a special section of the jail known for it's cruel and sadistic treatment of prisoners. The wardress (Monica Swinn) is a sadistic lesbian who knows no mercy and takes pleasure in her job. A must for all fans of sadistic women in prison films and for Jess Franco addicts, this is considered one of the all-time best in this genre. (1975) 

 

BARN OF THE NAKED DEAD (aka Terror Circus)- The humiliation of woman hits an all-time low in this exploitation feature. A depraved Andrew Prine, a desert hermit with a mother fixation, kidnaps women and ties them up in his barn. He treats the women like animals in the circus, making them perform despicable acts. There is also a mutated monster (caused by Nevada nuclear tests) kept in the woodshed that always breaks out. A drive-in exploitation classic. (1973)

 

BARRACUDA (The Lucifer Project)- In a secret government experiment, the drinking water of a whole city is mixed with a chemical which makes people aggressive. By accident the water flows into the sea and turns a school of Barracudas into man-eating monsters, attacking divers and swimmers. (1978)

 

BATTAL GAZI DESTANI- Turkish Language. Cuneyt Arkin goes to town in this colorful Turk costume drama that’s packed with bloody sword fights, whippings, torture, and even a little wrasslin’! (1971)

 

BATTAL GAZI GELIYOR- Turkish Language. Action-packed sequel to Battal Gazi Destani with even MORE torture, swordfights, kung fu, and nudity! Plus Satanic nuns, crucifixion, and a revenge plot where all the bad guys get their crotches stabbed, axed, or mutilated. Great stuff! (1973)

 

BATTLE BENEATH THE EARTH- Beneath the USA a system of tunnels is being developed by men from across the Atlantic. With machines undetectable by American technology, they place bombs under strategic sites across the continent. (1967)

 

BATTLE BEYOND THE SUN- The USA and USSR are embattled in a race to reach Mars, but run into two space monsters. Originally a Soviet film, new American footage was re-edited for American audiences. (1963)

 

BATTLE IN OUTER SPACE- The nations of the Earth unite in a common cause to fight off an invader from outer space. (1959)

 

BATTLE OF THE WORLDS- Starring Claude Rains. A stray planet on a collision course with Earth instead takes orbit around our blue marble. What seems like a dead planet suddenly launches a fleet of flying saucers which attack our space fleets. (1961)

 

BATTLE ROYALE- Ninth grade students are taken to a small isolated island with a map, food and various arms. They have to fight each other for three days long until the last one remains and are forced to wear a special collar which will explode when they break a rule. Warning! Very unnerving and graphic. BAY OF BLOOD- Uncut import print AKA Last House On The Left II & Twitch Of The Death Nerve. This highly recommended film was the inspiration for Friday The 13th. At a lakeside property, 13 gore murders take place. Film has a great surprise ending. Directed by Mario Bava. This is one of his goriest films. (1971)

 

BEACH GIRLS AND THE MONSTER (aka The Monster From The Surf)- Jon Hall directed and stars in a film about a nutty oceanographer who spends half his time watching bikini-clad girls and the other half creating a monster to prey on the cuties. Great camp fun. (1965)

 

BEAST AND THE MAGIC SWORD- One of the later entries in Paul Naschy’s werewolf series. This Spanish-Japanese production has Naschy still trying to find the cure for his treaded curse. Great effects mark one of the last of Naschy’s werewolf films. English subtitles. (1983)

 

BEAST IN THE CELLAR- Two Spinster sisters, a series of horrible murders, and one monstrous (once human) animal converge on a quiet and peaceful; English countryside. (1970)

 

BEAST OF BABYLON VS THE SON OF HERCULES- The rightful heir to the throne of Babylon leads a slave revolt against an evil ruler. (1963)

 

BEAST OF HOLLOW MOUNTAIN- Beautiful upgraded print. An American cowboy in Mexico discovers his cattle are being eaten by a giant prehistoric dinosaur. (1956)

 

BEAST OF MOROCCO (aka The Hand Of Night)- An archaeologist takes a vacation in Morocco, where he will try to recover of the irreparable loss of his wife and children. But there, a vampire princess will bring to him more than just an annoyance. (1966)

 

BEAST OF THE LAKE- At last an English subtitled print of “Monster Of Contanza Lake”. Beautiful widescreen print!!! 

 

BEAST WITH A MILLION EYES- 50’s sci-fi drive-in fare produced by Roger Corman. An obscure E.T. life form comes to Earth and turns all animals against humans. One scene has birds attacking a car (as in Hitchcocks’ The Birds). (1958)

 

BEASTIALITA- Italian Language. George Eastman stars in this Italian flick where a young woman finds her mother doing the family dog. The chick goes insane and that's when the fun starts. Another totally strange politically wrong movie that's sure to make you wonder who in the hell makes these movies and where in the hell do we find 'em. QUALITY IS FAIR/GOOD. Strong sexual content. BEAUTY EVIL ROSE- If the concept of exploitation hasn't opened to you yet, here is a recommended low-budget Chinese film that exploits so many elements that it's hard to count them! Beauty Evil Rose begins like a soft core sex film but the rest of the stuff is some kind of combination of thriller, horror, fantasy, comedy, soft core and a cop movie genres... all this in irresistible cheap way. Just look at those scenes involving witchcraft and "snakes" coming out from the mouths. A very fun experience. (1994) 

 

BEGINNING OF THE END- Audrey Ames, an enterprising journalist, tries to get the scoop on giant grasshoppers accidentally created at the Illinois State experimental farm. She endeavors to save Chicago, despite a military cover-up. A sci-fi classic. (1957)

 

BEHEADED- An executioner beheads his 1000th criminal, and unleashes a demon army headed by an evil witch called the Blood Lotus. Asian language w/English subtitles. (1993) 

 

BELL FROM HELL- (UNCUT) A young man is released from an asylum and returns home for revenge on his aunt and her three daughters, who had him declared insane in order to steal his inheritance.  (1973)

 

BELLS (aka Murder By Phone)- A disgruntled phone company employee develops a device whereby those answering a phone can be murdered. Gruesome and gory. (1980)

 

BEST OF ANIMATION TV COMMERCIALS- Over 90 minutes of nostalgic animated commercials from years past such as The Flintstones selling Winstons, Quisp and Quake cereal commercials, Rice Krispies with Woody Woodpecker, and much, much more.

 

BEYOND ATLANTIS- Directed by Eddie Romero. Forgotten by nature... invaded by modern man... half human... half fish! A band of adventurers invade a native island determined to grab a reported fortune in buried treasure. The islanders are just as determined to keep their sacred treasure. Horrible complications ensue. (1973)

 

BEYOND DARKNESS- A priest give tries to save the soul of a woman who has killed several children but she in turn almost makes him turn his back on God. Wracked with guilt, the priest visits the scene of the murders, an old house where many years before witches were said to have been burned at the stake. Another priest and his family have already moved in and the stage is set for a confrontation between Good and Evil. (1990) 

 

BEYOND EVIL- Middle-aged newlyweds Larry (John Saxon) and Barbara (Lynda Day George) spend their honeymoon at a palatial Caribbean mansion, unaware that it is inhabited by the vengeful spirit of a notorious voodoo witch queen who was murdered a century ago. The woman's evil spirit promptly begins precipitating a variety of violent deaths in accordance with a diabolical ritual intended to bring her back to life -- a process which is ultimately consummated by taking possession of George's body.

This orgy of gore is longer than the “ Thriller” version released in the states and more complete than ANY version available. A brutal film alleged to have used real corpses that were mutilated during filming. The story is about Frank, a taxidermist, who exhumes his girlfriends’ corpse and stuffs her while committing other unspeakable atrocities. WARNING: Extremely graphic, mature viewers only.  (1979) 

 

BEYOND THE DOOR (aka The Devil Within Her)- NEW WIDESCREEN IMPORTED PRINT WITH OVER 20 MINUTES OF GORE CUT FROM THE U.S. RELEASE!! Italian Exorcist imitation has Juliet Mills pregnant with the devil's child. This import print contains all the green vomiting, blood, and gore. Also stars Richard Johnson. The best of the Exorcist copies. (1975)

BIG DOLL HOUSE- (Exploitation) Pam Grier stars in this sexy, funny, thrilling exploitation classic. At a prison farm in the Philippines, new girl Collier (Judy Brown) is locked up with bitter lesbian (Grier), rebel girl Bodine (Pat Woodell), tough blonde Alcott (Roberta Collins), and Harad (Brooke Mills), a strung-out junkie. (1971)

 

BIGFOOT- Stars John Carradine. Has a 150 Year Old Legend Come True? Bigfoot kidnaps some women and some bikers decide to go on a rescue mission to save them. (1970)

 

BIOTHERAPY- “Biotherapy" is a fairly nasty Japanese gore-fest about a group of Japanese scientists stalked and viciously butchered by a creepy-looking alien. This relatively unknown ultra low-budget splatter film is rather well-made and captivating. It is a short film, about 35 minutes, but well worth it. Japanese language only. (1986) 

 

BIO-COPS- Over at Texas Red River Army Depot, sinister research in ongoing. Hong Kong scientists are working to create superhuman Painless Warriors, hoping to beat similar Russian plans. The virus necessary to the plan’s success mutates and the result is the ZombieNew Human. Lots of zombie gore. (2000)

 

BIO-ZOMBIE- (UNCUT) A toxic chemical changes people into zombies who lust after human flesh. Six people are trapped in a shopping mall not knowing that zombies are with them. Japanese with English sub-titles. (1998)

 

BILLY THE KIDD VS DRACULA- Popular cult film from the 60’s. Dracula travels to the American West, intent on making a beautiful ranch owner his next victim. Her fiancé, outlaw Billy the Kid, finds out about it and rushes to save her. Stars John Carradine as Dracula. (1966) 

 

BIRDS OF PREY- People are being attacked and mutilated by killer birds and no one knows why. It's up to a young reporter and her cameraman boyfriend to find out why flocks of birds all around the world are killing people. (1987)

 

BIRTH IN THE GRAVE- Indonesian horror. Rotting corpses, attacking birds, curses, a ghost and a very ugly hunchback. Indonesian language, no subtitles. (1972)

 

BLACK ANGEL- A film by Tinto Brass in German Language. Trapped in an unhappy marriage, the wife of a high ranking Fascist official starts a dangerous, self-destructive relationship with a duplicitous S.S. Officer. (2002)

 

BLACK BELT JONES- Classic 70’s blaxpoitation. The Mafia wants to buy Pop's downtown karate studio in an area planned for redevelopment. They get Pinky and his thugs to pressure Pop into selling, but accidentally kill him. The karate students call the kung-fu expert, Black Belt Jones, for help. (1974)

 

BLACK BIBLE (La Biblia Negra) - Spanish Language w/English subtitles. The story of a boy who is left orphan and he is forced to live with an aunt grandmother hers who reads a strange version of the Bible and seems to adore the Devil. (2001)

 

BLACK CAMEL- ULTRA-RARE. The second Warner Oland/Charlie Chan film featuring Bela Lugosi who made this right after “Dracula”. The only Chan film shot on location (Hawaii), it features a villainous, turbaned Lugosi and Dwight Frye. (1931)

 

BLACK CANDLES- A young woman travels with her partner to England on the unexpected death of her brother. Staying with her sister-in-law, she finds her companion soon drawn into a satanic cult based in the house. (1980)

 

BLACK DEMONS- (UNCUT) Voodoo/zombie film directed by Umberto Lenzi. Four young people on vacation come across a voodoo ritual they think is a stage show. Later, the living dead seem to be following them along with one of the young people coming under a voodoo spell, and killing innocent people. (1991)

 

BLACK DEVIL DOLL FROM HELL- A woman buys a doll at a magic shop. Unbeknownst to her, the doll is possessed by an evil spirit, and it proceeds to take her over. (1984)

 

BLACK DRAGONS- Stars Bela Lugosi. A cabal of American industrialists, all fifth-columnists intent on sabotaging the war effort, are methodically murdered by the malevolent Monsieur Colomb. It is only until detective Dick Martin is assigned to the case that everyone's true motives and identities are revealed. (1942)

 

BLACK HOOKER (aka Street Sisters) - A white youth lives with his African American grandparents, forced to endure the problems of being someone not fully part of either culture. The youth learns that his mother is a prostitute, and he is the result of an encounter between her and one of her white clients. He also learns he is staying with his grandparents because his mother doesn't want him since in her business there is no place for raising children. (1974)

 

BLACK MAGIC-SEE "JADU TONA"

BLACK PAST- Directed by Olaf Ittenbach, in German Language. German gore classic BLACK PAST still stands as one of the director's most violent and bloody works. Bloody nightmares are chasing Tommy. His girlfriend comes back from the dead and Tommy is not able to differentiate fact from fiction. Then Tommy starts to transform into a blood-thirsty killing-machine.

 

BLACK PIT OF DR. M- Spanish Language. Dr M runs an insane asylum with Dr Gonzalez and a third doctor. Dr M makes a pact with the third doctor. Whichever of the two dies first will come back to explain death to the survivor The other doctor dies and not only comes back but he tells Dr M that he too will join him in death in 3 months(?). One of the most violent patients escapes. She then throws a bottle of acid into the orderly Elmer's face. She is subdued but Elmer is horribly burned via the acid. A very rare print. (1958)

 

BLACK ROOM- In this perverse chiller, a disturbed brother and sister rent out a dark room, a supposedly safe space for swingers and philanderers to get their kicks. Unfortunately for the sexual adventurers, the brother Jason has a rare disorder that requires him to undergo frequent fresh blood transfusions. With his sister Bridget's aid, Jason spies on the activities in the black room, selecting ideal candidates for forced transfusions. (1984)

 

BLACK SCORPION- Giant scorpions demolish Mexico City. They have been released from underground caverns by a series of volcanic eruptions, and it's up to an American geologist to stop them. (1957)

 

BLACK SUNDAY- Milestone Italian film marking Mario Bava’s directorial debut. Star Barbara Steele is convicted as a witch and is killed wearing a spike mask. Two centuries later Steele’s corpse rises to stalk her counterpart (also played by Steele). This is the original British release version which contains additional footage, a different voice track, and the original Italian music score. (1960)

 

  BLACK TORMENT- One of the more obscure British horror films of the 1960s, barely seen by U.S. audiences since its theatrical run. (1964)
