RUNNING TIME- 96 minutes (UNCUT)

Good concept, but not quite successfully pulled off.
Four young people go to the traveling carnival in town that has a reputation of causing people to go missing. The characters running the shows are unique, especially the father and "son" running the Funhouse. The son wears a Frankenstein mask so his face is concealed.
The four kids decide to spend the night in the Funhouse, but witness a murder and find out what's really under the Frankenstein mask.
Although the movie's running time is 96 minutes, there seems to be something missing. There's relationships between some of the kids and the carnival workers that is hinted, but never played out. There are some great scenes here, but also actions of the characters that make no sense.
The role of the "son" played by Mime Wayne Doba is both disturbing, and touching. He is a freak in a human world. The pity soon turns to fear when the kids are noticed to be witnesses to the murder.
MY RATING-
1/2
