An extremely atmospheric horror film from Thailand.
A newlywed couple goes on a honeymoon to Thailand. Unfortunately there's someone there waiting for them, someone with evil intentions. 25 years ago a girl was killed and buried there. Now the couple has to try to escape this ghostly nightmare.
The incident that happened
25 years earlier, Porn and Sunee fought at a house. Sunee died by
accidentally falling from the porch. Porn sewed her mouth with holy string
to control her revengeful spirit. Then Porn and Chai buried her under the
tree. 25 years later, Ton and Mook spend their honeymoon at what is now a
resort where the original house stood. At night the ghastly ghost Sunee
haunted Mook, and begins to kill the laborers in the area.
This is one of the better exploit features that has come from Thailand. The scenes of the ghostly malformed girl with her mouth sewn shut, slithering on the ground like a snake is horrific. There is also a scene where one of the newlywed's in-laws happens into the morgue of the killed workers, and the spirit makes the workers come alive as the living dead. Are they now real or just her imagination.
The young wife, who Sunee is
attempting to possess, see imagery of exploit in every day things. One scene
has a garden hose that breaks loose, but the young wife sees blood spraying
everywhere in stead of water.
This film was well shot, and the print quality is very good from a Thai
Film. This film is in Thai Language and has English subtitles.
